A clean install of Win7 on an older laptop that I’m using for VIDA with my XC70. I got it working once, but it was slow as hell so I put an SSD in the machine and I’m starting over. It’s already leagues faster, and it’s so satisfying to open this tool and see pretty much NOTHING.
Now to clutter it up with VMware player and a virtual machine image to run VIDA, etc. and see what happens. Can’t be worse than before!

I’m a big fan of 7. All the solid foundations without the crap of W10. We are getting ready to migrate from 7 to 10 at work and I’m dreading the changes. W10 has so much bloatware it’s obnoxious!

We’ve been rolling out 10 for a while at work, and we’ve got a nice, clean image built so machines go out *relatively* free of all the extra crap. But even so, there’s a lot you don’t need.
